On September 18 and 19, 2023, the Rönne Foundation once again participated in the Dialogue For Future conference organized by the Federal Foreign Office, the Civil Society Corporation, and wechange e.G. Project manager Mareike Steinig updated on topics related to cooperation with the Eastern Partnership countries and exchange views with the contact persons at the Federal Foreign Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as representatives of Central and Eastern European NGOs and organizations.
At the beautiful Humboldt Carré, Mrs Steinig met our project partners from the NGO DEP from Georgia, whom the Rönne Foundation had met here two years ago and with whom it has since been successfully collaborating on three projects funded by the Eastern Partnership Program.
On September 19, 2023, the day of Azerbaijan’s offensive against Armenia in the conflict at the Nagorno-Karabakh region, representatives of both countries were able to directly exchange views on the changed situation during a panel discussion on “Analysing Geopolitical Shifts in South Caucasus” already scheduled for that day by the German Institute for International and Security Affairs and the Heinrich Böll Foundation Tbilisi.
