Project “Support for Minority Youth in Georgia”: Study Visit to Germany

From May 12 to 18, 2023, ten ethnic Armenian and Azerbaijani project participants visited Berlin as part of a study visit.

The aim of the visit was to learn from German organizations and their best practices. The participants had the opportunity to engage with representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations working on youth participation, gender equality, human rights advocacy, and environmental protection.

The study visit to Germany was truly an incredibly fascinating experience. I was able to gain valuable knowledge and had the opportunity to learn from NGOs and their best practices. This newly acquired knowledge significantly advances my project work.

The study visit to Germany was an exceptionally fruitful and inspiring experience. It was my first trip abroad, so I observed everything with great attention. The exchange with representatives of various German organizations and the understanding of their work, goals, and strategies proved to be very productive and inspiring. I was deeply impressed by the high level of responsibility that Germans show toward their country and society.

I was thrilled when I learned about the opportunity to travel to Germany. It was my first trip to Europe. I was very curious about the working dynamics of German organizations. The meetings with both governmental and non-governmental organizations left a strong and lasting impression on me.
